Some women experience back problems during pregnancy due to the huge changes taking place in their body shape. Practising Pilates will focus on core muscles such as the pelvic floor, enabling your body to build up strength and flexibility ahead of giving birth. The breathing techniques that are used are also a great way to prepare for labour.
